Making Strides Against Breast Cancer It's the day we've all been looking forward to - and it's finally here (almost)! The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Miami-Dade will take place this SATURDAY at Bayfront Park in Downtown. We can't wait to see you there! 8:30 a.m. Registration at Bayfront Park 9:00 a.m. Opening Ceremony: Jackie Nespral, NBC6 anchor, is our Grand Marshall and will preside Color guard and singing of the anthem ***Special Surprise Guest Speaker Young James Brown Band will move us forward with an inspiration tune…. 9:30 11 a.m. Dancin’ thru the Streets: 3 great groups will be at the mile markers (Jazz quartet,Steel drum band, Samba group); enjoy and dance to their music 11:00 a.m. Closing Ceremony: Host Mindy Lang of Majic 102.7 Winner of Sandals Vacation chance drawing to be announced & Young James Brown Band will perform a mini-concert 12:00 3:00 p.m. After party at Hardrock Café in Bayside Bayfront Park MSABC of Miami Day of Event Site Map Before we get together to honor our survivors and celebrate the progress we’ve made in the fight against breast cancer, we want to thank you one more time for lending your time and energy to the American Cancer Society.
